Hello friends!
I arrived home a few days ago from my journey to France and Martinique with Youth With a Mission. It truly was a wonderful experience and I have a plethora more stories to share with you.
I am already missing the beauty of France, but I am extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to travel back into Paris a few days before I left. My friend, Emily, and I had a grand time and found a magical bookstore tucked away just around the corner from Notre Dame: Shakespeare and Company. We had a successful and delightful day. We even used the Metro all day and never got lost! But now I find myself longing to go back to the beautiful city.
Even still, it is so good to be home and spend time with my friends and family! I truly have missed them, and they so wonderfully showed me that I have been missed as well. When I landed here in town they were waiting for me with balloons in hand. I am such a lucky chica to have friends like them! Then they took me out to get pizza (which I have been craving for months.)
The past few days have been filled with an even split of necessary items one has to do when they arrive home and relaxing and spending time with my loved ones. It has been a good week and I am slowly slipping back into every day life. I will continue that journey of readjusting over the next few weeks.
Thank you to everyone who prayed for me throughout my trip. I truly appreciate it!
Sara
